Claire’s Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 3/4 Cup Quaker Oats
  • 1 T Salt
  • 1/2 t Savory
  • 1 T Pepper
  • 1 T Parsley
  • 1 T Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Onion, chopped
  • 2.5 lbs Meatloaf Mix

Glaze

  • 1/2 Bottle Chili Sauce
  • 2 T Brown Sagar
  • 1/4 t Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 t Liquid Gravy Master

Instructions

  • In Large bowl beat eggs slightly with fork, stir in milk, oats, salt, savory, pepper and Parsley, Set aside.
  • Melt butter in medium skillet and add onion, sauté until tender. Add onion and meatloaf mix to egg mixture.
  • Mix until well combined, using hands if easy,
  • Line 9×13 pan with wax paper, form meatloaf on pan, patting down as needed. Refrigerate 2 hours. Run spatula along pan to loosen, turn onto shallow baking pan.
  • Oven to 350, Bake 30-40 minutes. Mix all glaze ingredients, brush on and bak for another 45 minutes, brushing occasionally with more glaze.

Notes

Serve with veggie and masher potatoes.  Make more, cook and freeze.
